Cancellation and Refund Policy

  1. You may cancel your booking with Dhoom Cabs at any time before the scheduled pick-up by contacting our 24x7 Customer Care helpline or cancelling directly through the Dhoom Cabs app. If cancellation occurs after driver and/or vehicle details have been shared, a cancellation fee will apply.

  2. No cancellation fee will be charged unless Dhoom Cabs confirms the cancellation in accordance with our Terms of Use and this policy.

    1. Bookings cancelled before driver or vehicle details are shared will not incur any cancellation charges.

    2. If the booking is cancelled after driver or vehicle details are shared, a cancellation fee will be deducted from the advance payment in your Dhoom Cabs wallet.

Drivers may also cancel a ride request if they have waited at the pickup location (e.g., Railway Station) for over 3 minutes, if the pickup location is incorrect, or if you're unreachable via phone/email. In such cases, up to ₹20 may be charged as cancellation along with forfeiture of the advance amount.

    4. If the cancellation is due to force majeure events—like epidemics, natural disasters, strikes, riots, wars, or road closures—Dhoom Cabs may, at its discretion, issue a voucher equal to the amount paid in advance.

2. Refund Policy

  1. Refunds will be processed according to this policy and may take 7–10 business days to reflect in your Dhoom Cabs wallet or bank account. Dhoom Cabs is not liable for refunds delayed due to incorrect banking details provided by you.

  2. You may receive non-expiring vouchers under Dhoom Cabs’ sole discretion in the following cases:

    1. If the vehicle breaks down mid-trip and isn’t fixed within a reasonable time.

    2. If cancellation occurs due to unavoidable force majeure circumstances (natural calamities, civil disturbances, etc.).

    3. If you update your drop location and it is accepted via the Dhoom Cabs app (subject to availability), the excess distance will be charged as per applicable rates.

  3. Dhoom Cabs is not liable to refund or provide vouchers if you make direct payments or hand over goods to drivers beyond what’s shown in the invoice.

  4. Dhoom Cabs is not liable for damages or losses caused by drivers during rides but will assist you in resolving such issues to the best of our ability.

  5. Dhoom Cabs reserves the right to withhold wallet funds and take legal action in case of misbehavior or misconduct (physical, verbal, or otherwise) with drivers.
